The Sony HTCT150 provides great sound quality with plenty of pre-set sound configurations. But you can also tune everything individually to your preference, such as bass, treble, sub-woofer, balance, etc.
I like the presets enough to just pick one to match gaming, TV or movies and just go with it. I will warn you that some pre-sets can give the system a very weak and awkward sound.
Sony HTCT150 system has so many pros I almost forgot to mention how easy it is to set up. There are all types of input options. It has digital coaxial, digital optical, SA-CD, Red/White composite and the ultimate: 3 HDMI inputs with high speed 3D pass through! So Sony HTCT150 system basically has an HD receiver built into the SubWoofer.
You only have one cable to go from Subwoofer to Soundbar. Easy as pie. I avoided a full 5.1 SRS because the hassle of all the wires. My Boxer puppy would chew the mess out of that. He's not even tempted with Sony HTCT150 because everything is tucked behind the TV and Subwoofer. The remote has plenty of options and superb compatibility to any Sony Bravia products!
