Canon T3
Canon T3. When handling a camera, strain creates instability and the chances for fuzzy images. It is no problem to hold a tiny compact digital camera out at arm's length while shooting but try that with a DSLR like the Canon T3 and see how fast arm strain starts causing shaky pictures. The Canon T3 has a feature called Live View for video shooting and convenience.
The Canon T3 (not to be confused with the T3i) is an upgrade of the wildly popular Canon XS. When buyers started getting the word out about the XS model, it began flying off the shelves in huge numbers.
In fact, it is still number one on Amazon's best seller list!, You can get one of these cameras for just over $500, and if you think about the past few years, we are talking about a 50% reduction in price for a new digital SLR model.
Canon T3 like all Canon digital cameras offers live view as a feature intended to make composition easier for both still and video capture. In still photography Live View is helpful in situations where the camera is in an awkward position and the eyelevel viewfinder is out of reach.
Aside from price, just what is it that makes the Canon T3 attractive to new buyers? First and foremost is image quality, the second benefit is Ease of Use, third is Speed.
The Canon T3 is very intuitive for new users, but perhaps the best feature of all in this respect is the "Feature Guide." Each time you change or select a new setting, the Feature Guide on the LCD panel explains exactly what the feature does.
Canon T3 (1100D) has a 12.2 megapixel sensor, and that is the same number of pixels as the Canon PowerShot SX20 IS, a very popular compact camera. But when you compare the size of the sensor, the APS-C sensor of the 1100D is more than 300 square millimeters, but the SX20 is a mere 30 square millimeters (keeping the number round).
The Canon T3 is maintaining the tradition of the XS in that a new photographer can start shooting with this camera right out of the box and get the great images they hoped for. Yes, the new Rebel is definitely improved. Since the release of the Canon XS a few years ago, digital technology has increased by light years.
